Isaiah 60:22 says, “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”                        

God has been constantly communicating with me through this verse since I started my journey last year in the Land of Opportunity, the United States. Every time I look back on the season of waiting and preparations, my heart is just full of love, amazement, and thanksgiving. God assured me in so many ways that He is with me; therefore, I shouldn’t fear and should and just continue to obey, no matter what storms may come.

                                                                                               

I have been an active Christian leader in the Philippines, leading wives in small groups. My husband, Errol, and I are also part of a couples' group. Besides our personal careers, we make time to meet with others to strengthen our marriage. Being in a small group or life group humbles me, especially when hearing others’ testimonies, and it makes me whole as a Christian. This has been my prayer since I was introduced to Point of Grace Church in July 2023.

                       

Earlier this year, when I prayed and fasted, my heart was truly seeking God’s plan and purpose for my life, and that He would use me through another small group. As I journey with Him every day, He was very clear with His command. True enough, I heeded His call to lead the ISG Fort Lauderdale, which was officially launched in April 2024.

                       

Leading these amazing and beautiful people gives me a sense of belonging and protection as I personally face giants every single day. Hearing their testimonies is a blessing because I am given the opportunity to witness God’s grace, goodness, and greatness. As you read this personal testimony, it is my prayer that you will never tire of seeking God, know His purpose in your life, and be part of a church community where you will strengthen your faith as you get to know your Savior, Jesus Christ.

                       

Together, we are called to be the salt and light, as we become a living testimony.
